For me, one of the highlights of every cruise is the food. It doesn’t matter whether it is the main dining room, the specialty restaurants, or the buffet. I like good food in a nice setting. Royal Caribbean lobster night is a great example. While it has changed a little since our last cruise, the important things are there. You can have all the lobster tails you want, and there are several other excellent choices on the menu.Continue reading “Royal Caribbean lobster night”
I love to book cruises far in advance. That lets me reserve specialty cabins, and often the rates are lower. I also love to spend many months looking forward to each cruise. We reported earlier that the Royal Caribbean Summer 2021 schedule would be coming out November 4. It is still coming soon, but there is a slight delay.Continue reading “Royal Caribbean Summer 2021 deployment schedule delayed”
One of the reasons I love to cruise is that I can have a cocktail alone with me wife or my friends. Why can I do this? Because my kids are well taken care of. *Of course* I want to spend time with them on vacation, and a cruise is a great option. However, yeah, adult time matters. We sailed on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas this Summer. We stayed in a huge suite with two families. There were a total of six kids between ages 9-15. The on board kids club is called Adventure Ocean, and it helped make the trip.Continue reading “Adventure Ocean kid’s club”
EDIT OCTOBER 26– Royal Caribbean is now announcing their Summer 2021 schedule a bit later. Original story follows below.

To get this cabin for July 2019, we had to book it in November 2017. Our group wants to take another trip. That means we need to know the Royal Caribbean 2021 schedule. Fortunately, the company has announced when they will have those details. Here, we talk about what we know and what the impact will be for cruisers from Galveston.Continue reading “Royal Caribbean 2021 Schedule From Galveston”
Sometimes, you have to go all out. While we often try to save money on vacation, this was not that trip. For roughly the same cost per person as a Grand Suite, our group of 10 booked the Villa Suite on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a balcony with a bar and hot tub, it was a once in a lifetime experience. The perks started on embarkation day.Continue reading “Liberty of the Seas Villa Suite”
