Royal Caribbean Formal Night Menu

The first formal night on Royal Caribbean. This wasn’t as big of a deal as the second formal night, but we still tried to make ourselves presentable.

I admit it. I am a sucker for fancy meals. Sometimes I even make my kids go to them. That’s one of the great privileges of going on a cruise. There are lots of options for fancy meals. The Royal Caribbean formal night menu tries to take things up a little more. Formal night happens twice on a 7 night cruise, and the two formal nights are a little bit different. This is what happened on our cruise this Summer on the Liberty of the Seas out of Galveston.

Royal Caribbean Main Dining Room Menu

The Royal Caribbean Main Dining Room Menu on Liberty of the Seas included lobster tail on the second formal night.

I am one of those people who plans restaurant meals way in advance. I like to know what I am getting. When booking a cruise, that helps me determine if I am selecting the right trip. We sailed with Royal Caribbean earlier this month. I wanted to share the Royal Caribbean main dining room menu with you in case you like to plan in advance as I do!

Planning your cruise on the Royal Caribbean app

The Royal Caribbean app opens about 4 weeks before your cruise.

I spend a *ton* of time planning my cruises. For me, one of the real joys of cruising is spending many months anticipating what is to come. I also LOVE to eat. I am cruising next week. Royal Caribbean Main Dining Room Menu Pimiento

Pimiento dinner menu in the main dining room on Royal Caribbean. The note saying “Exclusive to suite guests” only applies to room service orders. This was the menu for everyone at dinner.

The Pimiento main dining room menu (MDR) on Royal Caribbean looks really good, and I was cheering for it to be great. In the end, it was fine. This post is the last in my series about MDR menus on our June/July 2017 cruise, and I was generally impressed with the high quality of the food. Sadly, this meal was just OK. Royal Caribbean lobster night Jasmine menu

The Jasmine menu in the Main Dining Room on Royal Caribbean. This was served on the sixth night of our Summer 2017 cruise. The note “Exclusive to Suite Guests” only mattered for room service. This was the menu for all guests in the main dining room.

Our cruise on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas started on June 25, 2017. The second formal night was night 6– we had just finished a fantastic day in Cozumel, and we all got back aboard in time to enjoy dinner in the main dining room (MDR). I admit that it is a bit hard to get excited about a formal evening as one is pouring oneself out of Señor Frogs on the pier, but we gave it a go. It is a good thing we did, because this was Royal Caribbean lobster night! Continue reading “Royal Caribbean lobster night Jasmine menu”
