Carnival Dream Ocean Suite

A Carnival Dream Ocean Suite is smaller than a Grand Suite. Still, it offers plenty of room for 2 and enough for 3-4 people.

Some folks cruise by booking the smallest cabin they can. I get that. It is cheaper, and lots of folks want to spend time out on deck anyway. I am a little bit different. I like spending quiet time in my room, and I want extra space to spread out. For example, we sailed in the Villa Suite on the Liberty of the Seas this Summer. Suite perks also add a nice touch to the vacation. Last month, I sailed in a Carnival Dream Ocean Suite. It was a great space, and I would like to take a minute to show you what to expect.

Carnival Suite Perks

My Ocean Suite on the Carnival Dream was a great room on a great ship. The Carnival suite perks, however, significantly lag Royal Caribbean.

I sailed the Carnival Dream just before Christmas, and I had a great time. I sailed in an Ocean Suite. This Summer, I also sailed the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas in the Villa Suite. Galveston Cruise Reviews readers know I loved the suite perks. Today, I am not writing to compare the two lines, the two ships, not the two overall experiences. Instead, I want to focus on one specific aspect of my trip. The Carnival suite perks included some very nice touches. Unfortunately, however, they don’t provide the same premium experience as does Royal Caribbean.

Liberty of the Seas Villa Suite

The Liberty of the Seas Villa Suite features four bedrooms and a truly enormous balcony.

Sometimes, you have to go all out. While we often try to save money on vacation, this was not that trip. For roughly the same cost per person as a Grand Suite, our group of 10 booked the Villa Suite on the Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. With four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a balcony with a bar and hot tub, it was a once in a lifetime experience. The perks started on embarkation day.

Updated Royal Caribbean suite benefits

Access to the Suite Lounge is one of the best Liberty of the Seas suite perks.

We sailed Royal Caribbean out of Galveston in 2017, and the Liberty of the Seas suite perks were amazing. We sail again on Sunday, and we can’t wait. As a bonus, this time we are in the Villa Suite. This room used to be known as the Presidential Family Suite. It comes with a couple of extra perks. The concierge emailed us last night to explain everything. Royal Caribbean suite benefits are one of the reasons I keep sailing with them.

Carnival Fascination Penthouse Suite Southern Caribbean Cruise Experience – Planning the Cruise

Mr. and Mrs. John Brawley Tophat in United first class on their flight to San Juan.

Hello all.  Mrs. Tophat and I just got back from an excellent Carnival Fascination Penthouse Suite cruise adventure to the Southern Caribbean.  Over the next few weeks we are going to share with you our entire cruise experience.  We sailed on May 20th from San Juan to St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Marteen.  This cruise was about the ports of call.  We are gold cruisers with Carnival, having sailed with them many times out of New Orleans and Miami, so we were familiar with the Carnival experience.  We booked this cruise online via Carnival about a month before the sail date, so we had few options of cabins, and thus we ended up booking an extended grand suite on deck 6.  But, a few weeks before we sailed, the upgrade fairy called and offered us a Owners Penthouse Suite on deck 12.
